Shardiya Navratri Day 3 is on Saturday,October 9, 2021.The Goddess Adi Shakti in a particular form is honoured on thethird day of Navratri. 

On this day, Nava Durga's Chandraghanta avatar is worshipped. Chandraghanta Devi is known as the Goddess of Inner and Spiritual Power.Goddess Chandraghanta is the third avatar of Goddess Durga, according to Hindu mythology, and is worshipped by devotees on the third day of Navratri. If she is worshipped with devotion, she brings peace, wealth, and happiness into one's life. A half moon, or 'Chandra,' is supposed to be placed on her brow in the shape of a bell, or a 'Ghanta.' She has a golden, radiant complexion and rides a lion, according to legend. With ten hands, she is represented. Trishul, Gada, Sword, and Kamandal are carried in her four left arms, and her fifth left arm is in the Varada Mudra. She bears a lotus flower, an arrow, a Dhanush (bow), and a Japa Mala in her four right arms

Goddess Parvati is the great Lord Shiva's wife. Lord Shiva decorated the Goddess's forehead with a Chandra made of Chandan after their marriage. She was given the name Chandraghanta because of this. POOJA

The puja begins on the third day of Navratri with the installation of a Maa Chandraghanta idol that has been cleaned with Ganga Jal.Place a water-filled pot of Silver, Copper, or Earth on the Kalash Sthapna.Using the Sankalpa for Puja, do shodopchar puja of Maa Chandraghanta and all other deities using Vedic and Saptashati mantras. Then, for each deity, offer all required pujan samagri. Finally, do Aarti and pass out Prasad.Offer Maa Chandraghanta milk and milk products. This makes Maa Chandraghanta pleased, and she removes all barriers from the devotee's life and ensures tranquilly.
