King Khan worked as a lead actor in more than 80 movies but do you know, Shahrukh Khan had rejected many blockbusters hits in his career? 1. Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai 

In year 2000 kaho naa.. pyaar hai was the biggest hit movie on the box office and this movie established  Hrithik as an actor. But initially this movie was offered to SRK for the lead role but he's suffering from  illness and denied to play the role.


2.Lagaan (2001) 

The director Ashutosh Gowariker of the most iconic movie 'lagaan' had offered King Khan to play the character of bhuvan in this movie but due to the shortage of the dates SRK refused the proposal and then he approached Aamir khan for the role. Aamir accepted the offer and did the film. The film was blockbuster hit and got nomination for the Oscar Award too. 

3.Munna Bhai (2003)

Writer and director Rajkumar Hirani wrote the story of 'Munna Bhai MBBS' for SRK and he had chosen Sanjay Dutt for the role of Circuit. SRK was the first choice of producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra to play the role of Munna but SRK wasn't able to act in the film due to illness. Then luckily Sanjay Dutt got the chance to play as Munna and the film was Superhit and got appreciation of critics and fans.

4.Rang De Basanti (2006) 

Rang De Basanti is one of biggest blockbuster of Bollywood. But do you know, Shahrukh Khan was offered the role of Air Force pilot essayed by R Madhavan. But SRK denied it because he didn't want to play second fiddle to Aamir.  

5.Jodhaa Akbar (2008)  

Once again Ashutosh Gowariker wanted to make a film with SRK because he had already done film 'Swadesh' with him. That's why he wished to cast him in his next periodic drama 'Jodhaa Akbar' as a lead role of the Emperor Akbar but he rejected this proposal too because he was not comfortable with the shooting location and he also wanted to spend some times with family, finally film slipped towards Hrithik  Roasan and he played the role very well.
