This 10 day auspicious festival of GaneshChaturthi  is also known asVinayaka Chavithi. According to the Hindu calendar, the event is held in theBhadra month, which comes between mid-August and mid-September. 

It is the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity.

Local youth groups also celebrate this festival together by collecting funds from the localities and organizing a grand celebration on the day on ganpativisargan.

This is the best way to serve the environment and make your festival special. As it is not allowed to immerse idols in water bodies, you can easily immerse them in the tub in your house.

ONE GANESHA WITH EVERYONE

In your locality, rather than bringing separate ganesha you can worship one together, and immerse him in the water while following the social distancing. This will be more fun and eco-friendly.

SMALL GANESHA IDOL

Size does not matter while talking about spirituality, worshiping a small idol will be budget friendly and environment friendly.

GANESH CHATURTHI IN 2021

This year people will celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi on 10 September and Ganesh Visarjan will be on 19 September. Because Lord Ganesha is believed to have been born during the Madhyana era (noon), the preferred Puja time is in the afternoon.According to folklore, the Lord returns to Mount Kailasha to see his parents, Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, on the tenth day after the Ganpati is immersed.
